Jack Quinby is a trombonist, singer, band leader, and contractor who has performed with Bob Hope, The Moody Blues, The Temptations, Natalie Cole, The Four Tops, Pat Boone, Robert Goulet, Carol Channing, The Manhattan Transfer, as well as a number of travelling Broadway shows.
His CD Beautiful Bones has garnered critical acclaim and achieved commercial success. For four years it remained in the top 3 of CdBaby’s Top Seller list for Orchestral Jazz. Videos of the Beautiful Bones CD Release Concert have had over 1/2 million viewings. |
The release of Beautiful Bones has created a demand for Jack as a solo performer. He has performed as a guest soloist with
a number of Jr. High, High School, and college concert bands throughout the Pacific Northwest.
As a contractor in Portland, Jack has hired orchestras for numerous Broadway shows, as well as Rod Stewart, IL Divo, Mannheim Steamroller, among others.
Jack performs regularly in orchestras, dance bands, and chamber brass groups in the Portland area.
